The mission of the Partnership for Life Sciences Education (PULSE) is to catalyze, at the department-level, the reforms called for in Vision and Change in Undergraduate Biology Education: A Call to Action [AAAS, 2011]. Funded by the National Science Foundation and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Southeast Regional PULSE (SERP) Institute will engage institutions throughout the Southeast region in this national PULSE initiative.
